By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Service
Peace of Mind Well Testing provides data-driven, empirical analysis of well water quality and system performance. Our findings are based on conditions present at the time of testing only. We provide objective, third-party data and do not offer guarantees regarding future well performance, water table fluctuations, or long-term system reliability.
2. Scheduling and Payment
All services must be paid in full at the time of scheduling. No appointment will be officially confirmed or placed on our calendar until payment is received. All payments are non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched to the property.
3. Laboratory Results
Water quality analysis is performed by independent, state-certified laboratories. Peace of Mind Well Testing is responsible for proper sample collection, handling, and chain-of-custody protocols. We are not responsible for delays in laboratory processing, reporting errors made by the laboratory, or discrepancies between sample results and actual well conditions.
4. Reporting and Compliance
Our technical reports are designed to assist with real estate transactions and homeowner assessments. It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that our report meets the specific, individual requirements of their lender or local municipality. We recommend sharing our service scope with your loan officer prior to scheduling.
5. Liability Limitation
Our liability for any claims related to our services is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the specific service provided. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our reports, including but not limited to real estate transaction delays or property value disputes.
6. Radon and Volatile Samples
Radon is a volatile gas that requires specialized, zero-headspace harvesting. While we follow all industry-standard collection protocols, we cannot be held liable for results affected by factors outside of our control, such as sudden changes in well usage, equipment malfunctions, or laboratory processing variables.
